Alejo Iglesias Duran

Colombian cinematographer, photographer and audiovisual technician, born in Cali. He graduated in Film and Digital Communication from the Universidad Autónoma de Occidente and later furthered his training in Madrid with a Master’s Degree in Cinematography and a Fashion Photography course at EFTI.

Since 2020, he has developed his professional career primarily between Spain and Colombia, working on a range of projects across the audiovisual and photographic fields. His practice is characterised by a particular focus on photography and lighting as narrative tools, approaching image-making not only from an aesthetic perspective, but also as a fundamental part of the story and the way it is communicated.

His experience across different technical and creative areas of the audiovisual industry reflects an ongoing pursuit of developing a distinctive and versatile visual language.
